Real people.
Real conversation.
Thoughtful intros, sent by text. You meet. You talk. You connect.
Fika/ˈfiːkə/noun—A Swedish coffee break shared in good company, centered around real conversation. A daily pause to slow down and appreciate the small things.
We built Fika to bring that feeling back.
No app. No endless chats.
How it works
- 1
Get set up
Text our number and answer a few quick questions. We use that to introduce you to people nearby who are similar enough to connect and different enough to stay interesting.
- 2
Get your Fika intro
When we have an intro for you, we'll text you a bit about them and text them a bit about you. If you both are down to meet for a Fika, we'll set it up for you.
- 3
Lock time and place
We propose a time and place based on when you're both available and where you live. Confirm by text.
- 4
Meet up
Show up for your Fika. Simple as that.
FAQ
We use your profile, preferences, and when you’re usually free. There’s no fixed weekly cadence—we text you on our number when we have a good intro. You’ll get a proposed time and a public place (often a café) to confirm by text.
Yes. Fika is for in‑person conversation in a public spot—usually a café or similar.
No pressure—it’s one conversation. Stay in touch or leave it at that; your call.
We don’t sell or share them. We only use them to run Fika, and your intros never get your contact info.
Fika is currently free to use.
